Mallory Rasmussen was very excited to join the community of certified paralegals as determined by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA)! The Certified Paralegal credential is voluntary, but it carries a great deal of professional esteem. NALA awards the credential when a paralegal demonstrates a mastery of the profession by passing a two-part exam that covers knowledge content and skills application. Obtaining this certification was a major priority for her, Mallory said, “because I want clients to have that additional level of confidence in my ability to provide quality work for them.”
