Brittany Crane, one of our Paralegals, also volunteers with the Tempe Police Department’s Mounted Unit. Since starting as a volunteer in 2015, she has contributed over 200 hours taking care of the seven “boys” (horses, who have the rank of “officer”) on weekends and holidays. The boys love the cuties and carrots Brittany brings – bribery is way undervalued. In January, she decided to take her horsemanship skills to the next level and began taking horseback riding lessons. Brittany’s dependable and caring nature did not go unnoticed by the Tempe Police Department, who announced in April that she received an Outstanding Service Award for her dedication to the Police Department.
